First time to got stoned?

This came up on the podcast and it brought back some memories of innocent and silly enjoyment of our wonderful plant. When did you first get stoned?

For me, it was when I was about 13/14. Mt step dad was a heavy stoner, Id seen people enjoying cannabis for years. This was the days of hash, that thick creamy smell always fascinated me when it get a whiff.

Me and a mate decided we were going to get stoned . We got ourselves a with I think, 1 big issue, neither of us could roll, I don't think we really knew what rizzla we would have needed . We decided we were going to empty cigarettes and fill them back up with hash and the baccy. I thought I was an expert, having a step dad as a heavy stoner and seeing people smoking on the regular lol. If I'm honest I don't remember how I felt, I remember laughing, being silly, having the munchies. It was illegal so for kids of that age which added to the excitement of the evening. My mate had heavy red eyes, it was a cool evening. This was the thing for a while every Saturday evening for a while. I loved that smell and the feel of the hash, as I crumbled it after heatimg. Man I love weed

I wanted to post this as I could see that everyone on the podcast changed a little when describing their first time getting stoned. It was a strange feeling, the only word that comes to mind is innocence, you could hear it in the voices and people describing that first time.

I don't remember my first whitey but I know I had a good few. I remember being in my early 20's, id not smoked for a while. Id gone on the piss and bumped into some old mates. We went back to a house after the pub and out comes this lump of hash, me being pissed was like yeahhhhhhhhhh lets have it. Having not smoked for a few years, being completely wasted... Smoking that hash was not the best idea. That is the whitey I remember most. Sat there, went all quiet, trying to style it out. Had to do the old back door boogy and get out of there. Through up many times on my long, cold miserable walk home

i was a latch key kid by 1977 the silver jubilee by then i was already smoking players number6.....we could by single fags back then age 11 in the local shops in the village,now then way before i smoked fags my uncle was growing dutch tabbaco in his bedroom as i lived with my uncle coz my old girl fucked off by the time i was 3 anyway i used to see him dry his tabbaco on the window sill thought no more of it i was 11 now see,anyway after a while i started to pinch the odd bit of this dutch tabbaco and i never looked back since,i was in comprehensive skool next thats when the hash came in,red leb £1 for a tooty blob enough for a small dooby ... i`d save up my pocket money and buy hash weekly there were 4 of us in the gang,if we had no canna we`d sniff evo stick instead or ...... ..... ..... ..... ....... ..... some say im a head.

my first was walking down the pub with a chap from work and we smoked a realy nice tasting bifter and by the time i got to the pub i'd gone all quiet and my voice had gone

1969, sitting outside high school in my friends car. He was the only one in my school with shoulder length hair. LOL Probably Mexican brick weed but still got tuned.

We smoked 1 paper spliffs with hash we had got from a mates older brother and got high and then shoplifted mumchies from the local garage and then smoked more hash and then went back and shop lifted more munchies. I remember spewing frazzles (bacon flavoured crisps) everywhere whilst lying next to a tree. It was the tobacco that made me spew. Weed has always been my friend.

Oooh good question, I was 16 and hanging around with some lads in the year above me at school, at break we went out into the stadium and this lad Tony made a joint with pot(weed wasn’t a thing back then). We passed it around and I went back to class wrecked, I turned green that day.
That was the start of it, smoked nearly every day of my life since, almost 40 now so had a good run

They were the best days, smoke 1 joint between 5 people and everyone would end up rolling around on the floor giggling uncontrollably over something so silly like a fart or something.
Buckets, lungs, shotties, home made bongs, oh what it would be like to re live that again.
In the Friday night hangout you was talking about that kid who would have tinfoil, a pin, a socket with a gauze in that fits in coke bottles, that kid was me hahaha
I used to be able to make a smoking device out of anything lol, then I got a job and started buying bongs and all that creativity went out the window now I look back on it

I was 11 years old, living in Kingston upon Hull, (dont judge) it was my second day of secondary school and a friend's junkie mum gave him a spliff of solid to take to school. We bunked school and sat at the park to smoke, that one spliff got all 6 of us FUCKED! that ruined school for me as every day after that we would save our bus fair and chip in on a pack of 10 fags from the shop by school. The shop keeper would see me waiting outside and when the shop was empty he'd call me in and serve me lol. My friend would always bring a little lump of hash and we were away. We built a raft out of pallets and polystyrene and would float down the canal smoking joints all day until my mum got a letter from the education board saying they were taking her to court because of my 13% attendance.
