Day 39, looking alright, small buds again, some mg deficiency on the Marshmallow OG and Dream Come True, P Funk has smallest buds with high leaf ratio. They're all frosty and smell great, especially the Marshmallow OG, with hints of lavender, rose, lemon, and Pink Cereal Puffs has the classic Runtz smell.

Day 47: P-Funk and Dream Come True are ready to harvest already, which caught me out as I was intending to cut out all nutrients for at least a week before harvest. I started giving them only water a few days ago but my feeds have been on the weaker side this time, so hoping it won't matter. The Pink Cereal Puffs and Marshmallow OG have another week to go at least. I'm reverting back to coco in 6L pots for the next run due to there not being much difference in yield with growing in soil in 15L pots, and they performed better in coco with no deficiencies, plus it's cheaper and easier - can't get into hand-watering.

This diary is done now. I'm semi-pleased for once because I finally got some keepers:

Dream Come True: is almost exactly what I've been searching for, being very similar in effects to the old HSO Blue Dream before it went downhill. It's a sociable daytime strain, more cerebral than bodily but gives a nice warm glow all over, with a fruity blueberry and pineapple flavour. The buds are quite light and airy but a fairly decent size and not too hard to trim. I'm still going to try HSO's new version of Blue Dream to see if that's better.

Pink Cereal Puffs: is my new favourite, dense, purple buds all the way to the bottom of the plant with lots of frost and hardly any leaf to trim. The buds aren't huge but mine rarely are these days, but they aren't very small either. I reckon it could be a decent yield. The flavour is like Runtz + American grape. I'd say it's a a day or night strain with a strong body buzz and a warm, uplifting glow without paranoia. It looks identical to the one on the breeder's website but with smaller buds. Love the effects, very strong, proper party cannabis!

These two I won't keep:

Marshmallow OG: is possibly the tastiest weed I've ever had. Hard to describe the flavour but I'd say creamy lemon, cedar and rose. It's a strong flavour and I know Compound Genetics are big on their flavours. Unfortunately, the effects are quite good but not good enough. I found it a bit weak and felt a bit groggy but that's just me probably. Maybe I need more time to evaluate, as it's only just dried.

P Funk: has quite a nice flavour, something like peaches with a hashy-funk. The effects are heavy Indica, which is not really my thing but makes a great night time strain. It's very frosty. The main thing that puts me off is the small, light buds and high leaf ratio. It was a pain to trim. That may not be the case for everyone - I just seem to be a bit shit at growing lately.

I changed my opinion about Marshmallow OG and P Funk. I really like both. I had the MOG a few times since I wrote the above review and it's so nice. Aroma is leather and lemons. Makes me feel really nice and relaxed but weirdly energised at the same time, and not sleepy. Another potential keeper. The P Funk tastes really nice, hard to describe, and effects are perfect for night time - total mind and body relaxation, but not keeping it simply due to how it grew poorly for me.
