Re: a Little bit of Sherbet
Thank you all for the nice words. Fly out today and back monday(sadly) so only a whistle stop tour of Madrid but hey, not complaining!
Hopefully we should be nearly dry by the time we get back on Monday.

Re: a Little bit of Sherbet
..right. Jarring up tonight. Looks and feels about right. Has a really strong sweet smell to it, see how it goes after a few weeks curing. Will post a pic up once done later.

Tasty looking buds there, sir.

Re: a Little bit of Sherbet
Jarred and away, curing nicely. burp once a day for two weeks and then weekly thereafter. Pulled about 7zip from it. not bad from the first autopot run, it was certainly less effort on the growing side. Lots to dial in on the next grow, which will be using all clay balls and no coco, so thats gonna be a new experience. Looking forward to it though, managed to clean all the clay balls i used on this grow really well so longer term there should be a small cost saving i guess but we are talking tiny i guess lol.
I'll do a smoke report on it once its had a good cure, but from the the samples ive had its got some kick and some real nice flavours developing.
Anyway, thanks for tagging along and thanks for the advice throughout the grow.
Admin - stick a fork in this one, she is done. Ta.

Re: a Little bit of Sherbet
You seen it done with auto-pots and clay-balls before Hmr ? I would think that system wont be suited to clay-balls so much cus they easily dry out quickest of any medium ive used and what with feeding from bottom they dont really get chance to become soaked through properly like they would top feeding. That along them not gonna being best at wicking wetness up so good. I just think they may not be best medium to use. I've seen perlite used ok which doesn't hold much water either but that shit is really compact compared to clay-balls and i recon that medium be tricky as well tbh. Your using best medium in coco but that's my opinion on jobby. It might be an idea buffering those clay-balls as well if you go that route using them as a standalone medium, use summink like a calmag water mix soaked overnight around 5.8ph. Should help getting them started. You`ll certainly need to be an ball i do know that early on before roots hit pot bottom mate. Maybe check out a few of the auto-pot grows done by Minty on here if you`ve not already seen them he got that system rocking soon enough. Best of luck either way Hmr.
Enjoy your harvest .

Re: a Little bit of Sherbet
i only used a top dressing of coco on this run, it was 90% clay balls really. i do buffer the clay balls with a standard feed plus some calmag but thats it really. Im gonna give it a go anyway and see what happens. worst case is take a cutting and swtich over medium.
