See, I remember there was a load of controversy surrounding Shanti Baba and MrNice too. I've run a shit ton of Greenhouse stuff and it was pretty much all shit except the Arjan Haze. I could have been just unlucky but I would have to have been unlucky lots of times.

I was at a trade show at Manchester back when we was allowed to promote cannabis products and received a bag full of greenhouse seeds for free. They were giving out their seeds on lanyards to everyone as you walked in. Must have been at least 10 of their lines and everything was crap.

I did run a MrNice run but again it wasn't nothing special and infact ended up hermie on me. If I remember correctly, they popped up around 2008 with a bunch of seeds. I only tried them due to the hype train. Was a proper ballache to even get a pack. Howard Marks was just as a money man as the rest of them with an ego to rival them all too. I was invited to a dinner with him and said yes until I realised that they wanted us to pay for the privilege He's a nice enough guy but I really didn't give that much of a fuck :)

Yer man i totally agree,i never had any luck with any greenhouse or mr nice gear,i mean i know that shanti worked at greenhouse years and years ago and theny put out some great stuff then,mid to late 90's really but neville was also working there at the time and thats no doubt the reason such legends were created in that short era.I think shanti just rode the wave of nevilles skills at GH and i don't believe all this mr nice shit like the black widow,critical mass ect are made from the same original breeding stock as the white widow and the big bud for instance,it's just not the same shit and its unrealistic to believe all those cuts are still around to breed with now lol... and as for the whole arjan and GH behavior in recent years,man dont get me started on all that shit....dutch miillionaires poncing around planet claiming to care about the plant,scum bags...

anyway sorry for yet another rant lol.on a lighter note plants look great @Tictok man,they do look pretty similar dont they,this will be very interesting,excited to see what if much differnce in smells they have

The two phenos are getting quite distinct although the resin smells pretty much the same at this point.

So they may be a Sohum Black Domina and a 95 Black Domina, or two phenos of the same line. Slight fruit smell amongst the musky dankness.

The larger got a little hungry while I was away but getting back now. The smaller is so similar to the stick in the tknl5haze diary, could be the NL coming through.

Week later, chugging along nicely.... these are really solid plants, very sturdy, thick leaves. Both phenos smell the same, slightly citrus with a plastic undertone...

Lovely plants to grow, solid flowers, very dense, the resin is incredibly sticky, like glue.

So 7 weeks 2 days in....



The big pheno has started foxtailing and putting out white pistels, it's 42cm from the light but the lowers are doing it to. I'm hoping it's natural and the plant isn't stressed.





The smaller pheno is nearly done already, solid buds and definitely quicker than the large pheno...





Interestingly, both smell exactly the same, there's citrus, earthy with a subtle hint of plastic and another hint of vapo rub, almost menthol.

I only have a cut of the big pheno, let's hope she's a good one.

Exactly 8 weeks to the day and the smaller pheno is done. She's been swelling last couple of days and with the presence of a few ambers she's got the chop.

Always a little disappointment when chopping a plant I don't have a cut for, but the cuts were so small due to next to no branching.

Big oheno is way not done, reckon it may go 10 weeks.

Here's the top cola of the small pheno, smells dank.



Absolutely solid throughout like the smaller buds.

It's been a very successful grow that I'm putting down to solid genetics.

Time to actually pop the AK Bean Brains seeds I purchased !!
