Re: Growers Choice Naranja Biscotti
I didn’t know that, this is the first time I’ve heard of semi automatics

Re: Growers Choice Naranja Biscotti
Week 6 Veg
Silicon = 0.5ml/L A+B = 1ml/L
Fulvic = 1ml/L
Rootstim = 1 ml/L
Background E.C = 0.5 (3 stage filter)
E.C = 1
P.H = 5.8
Light = Invisible Sun V bar (150w) @45%
Coming along swimmingly in here now, These are rooting like nobody’s business.
They got a little haircut a couple of days ago and are just starting to bounce back now.
Soon be little bushes. Within the next two weeks they will be basking under the x bars.

Re: Growers Choice Naranja Biscotti
I'm having a look for a haze strain at the moment. Some of the faster flowering one's have auto in them somewhere down the line. The one's I'm looking at have been about since the 90s.Keeno wrote: ↑Wed Jun 01, 2022 12:56 amThey should reveg the sane as other photos but it can't hurt to have a little experimentVador wrote: ↑Mon May 30, 2022 1:00 pmYou’ve got me thinking now @Keeno, due to these being semi automatic I would have thought it’s possible to take clones from these, I wonder what they would re veg like as well, might have to have a little play and see if I can save one of these at the end, it’s only a seven week strain so has potential to make a good mother plant, I’ll keep that in mind going forward and see how they come out. The "fast" strains are not new but are new in the large-scale production of the seeds. By new I mean a few years. But the mix of auto and photo to create them is the newest "type" of our beloved plant when it comes to these types of things. Can't hurt to play as you say.
Grapefruit has caught my eye. Next on the list

Week 7 Veg
Silicon = 0.5ml/L A+B = 1ml/L
Fulvic = 1ml/L
Rootstim = 1 ml/L
Background E.C = 0.5 (3 stage filter)
E.C = 1
P.H = 5.8
Light = Invisible Sun V bar (150w) @45%
These girls are doing really well, they've started to outgrow the veg area now but will be going into the flowering room this week anyway.

Re: Growers Choice Naranja Biscotti
Week 8 Veg
Silicon = 0.5ml/L A+B = 1.2ml/L
Fulvic = 1ml/L
Rootstim = 1 ml/L
Background E.C = 0.5 (3 stage filter)
E.C = 1.2
P.H = 5.8
Light = Invisible Sun X bar x2(240w each) @50%
Finally the biscotti has made it into the flowering room, Got the scrog net into place today and made a quick start at spreading them out, will get stuck in tomorrow. Probably give these a week under the x bars before flipping.
There are a couple of damaged leafs from where they got too close to the v bars but nothing serious.

Re: Growers Choice Naranja Biscotti
Week 9 Veg
Silicon = 0.5ml/L A+B = 1.1ml/L
Fulvic = 0.8ml/L
Rootstim = 0.8ml/L
Background E.C = 0.5 (3 stage filter)
E.C = 1.1
P.H = 5.8
Light = Invisible Sun X bar x2(240w each) @50%
Taking shape now lads, Got some time this week and hit them hard. Cut back on the a+b a tad due to some of the leafs looking a bit dark and leathery
The plan is to veg them for another week to let them recover and to fill the net a little more then flip them next weekend.
7 Week strain so should go by quite quickly.
The watering system worked well in the last grow except for some of the holes had blocked up, it didn't cause any problems but ive drilled them all out to 2.5mm now though so hopefully it won't happen again.

Re: Growers Choice Naranja Biscotti
Week 1 Flower Initiation
Total Veg Time = 9 WeeksSilicon = 0.5ml/L
Calmag = 0.8ml/L
A+B = 1.1ml/L
Fulvic = 0.8ml/L
Rootstim = 0.8ml/L
Background E.C = 0.5 (3 stage filter)
E.C = 1.3
P.H = 6
Light = Invisible Sun X bar x2(240w each) @50%
Let the flowering commence, 7 weeks to go now apparently. I’ve put them on a 13/11 light cycle but I think with this strain they would get away with an extra hour light, might make some tweaks over the next couple of weeks.
Lights are roughly 6 inch from the canopy, although the closest light I raised up for the photos.
So far this has been an excellent strain to grow, solid genetics and a real nice structure to the plants. Hopefully flowering will be as impressive.
Need to yield more than 376g of dried bud and 276g dried popcorn to beat the barneys farm blue cheese I’ve just finished. I think these have the potential to do well against the cheese.
This week I’ll get in there and hack away some foliage then just let them grow.
