Re: Amnesia Auto And SFSD
I always have temp problems (too low) when using new qb type lights in fact the last indoor grow I had the lights on 24 hrs and put 4 duvets over the tent just to keep the temps over 25 c. No problem with blurples or hid lighting. I water once a day with plenty of run off you have loads of height left so I would put a cake rack or something similar on top of your washing up bowl to keep your pot out of the run off. Also weirdly I have to have more extraction when lights are off than when they are on due to humidity obviously not a problem if lights are on 24 hrs, you will get your mojo back mate I'm sure. Have you got a small hid light you could use a 250 watt would be more than enough for the one plant. Good luck mate I'm looking forward to you turning this around

Re: Amnesia Auto And SFSD
This is my tent set up if you look on the top left you can see the out let to the rvk fan I vent in the room . If you look to the right there is 4 inch ducting going out the wall I put a small black orchid fan on that to extract some air out the room if needed it's not always needed.the second pic shows the tent open with a oscillating fan at the top blowing down the extraction on the floor going out the left side . I sometimes use a black orchid extraction fan instead of the rvk as this keeps the temps up as long the humidity is ok . Note the duvets they have made a big difference to my temps . Please don't think I'm being dick I know you know all this already it just sometimes helps to start from scratch. And you can see my outdoor stuff drying and curing in the bottom .

When i was growing woth cobs they were active cooles with 4 PC fans for each cob its a 4rig ... I didn't have this much hassle and stem rots but since switching its been like this and I just thought it's me lol probably still is....
But I'll change the extraction f4om now I normally just swap jn water because it hardly goes above 15c even with heating on and 247 lights on but I think I need to make a move and sort it from now ... I had an idea its to do with temps but now I deffo know it's to do with temps so I appreciate yours and jimmis input because that's reassuring me. So please any more tips or things you that could help or even if it didn't help the knowledge is well appreciated :D

Re: Amnesia Auto And SFSD
You need to lift the plant out of the runoff mate it's very important especially with these new leds the plants don't drink like we're used to they don't get warm enough in my opinion they work best with hids or blurples as well . I've been trying for a couple of years and they are great when the weather is hot but it does have to be hot , small panels maybe perfect par etc but they don't produce enough heat on there own . Also there's lots of salts all round your pot and tray have you checked your runoff it could be high, keep it up mate

Re: Amnesia Auto And SFSD
The red trays are suspended and its drips down to the black tray and the back pots are stood on blocks of wood way above the full make on lower drain tray.Wrh wrote: ↑Tue Aug 01, 2023 6:46 pmYou need to lift the plant out of the runoff mate it's very important especially with these new leds the plants don't drink like we're used to they don't get warm enough in my opinion they work best with hids or blurples as well . I always have bad salts at bottom of the pots but water does not sit in the red tray at all. I'll show pics when I go up little later on buddy I need to throw that amnesia in a rubbish bin and put glueberry auto in there.

Would you advise putting a block on the red tray to suspend the pots ?

Yes mate I would definitely keep your pot off the tray below anything will do it as I said before sticks , trays or pots literally anything. Also what are your max and min temps and humidity can you turn your extraction down I can't see it being high with only one plant , we all want to see her green up and bulk up, go dex let's make it happen lol

Re: Amnesia Auto And SFSD
I couldn't tell you the high and low of anything to be fair I didn't bother getting a digital thermostat, fans cannot be turned down well I could switch one fan off I have the cf on double 4 or 5 inch fan so it pulls more air in and makes the small room into a good -pressure and pull in house temp but it doesn't seem to make a difference I don't think.Wrh wrote: ↑Wed Aug 02, 2023 12:31 pmYes mate I would definitely keep your pot off the tray below anything will do it as I said before sticks , trays or pots literally anything. Where I live it's nearly always humid as well I'm coastal funny thing tho when I used hps it was hard to to keep humidity above 30% lmao now I bet I'm on 70s and 80s... I will invest in a thermo tho soon.
I currently stuck a small 4 inch fan to blow the air to the tent ceiling which I forgot to take a pic ov but will tomorrow...
Oh and I will stick something under the pots and show them tomorrow
