Re: Help with the new grow with help from 2-scoops (Amnesia Lemon)
Hi again, I was there today too, they were looking even better than before. But one of them was bending sideways, i dunno why. I put some perlite to keep it straight. Is that bad?
I'll go there again after 2 days and post new photos. I'll also check the doseages of the calmag.
God i love this forum. I'm getting so much help from not far away but far enough places. I feel sooo lucky :)

So the bent plant its cus stems aren`t strong enough yet so it maybe an idea taking summink to stake them up with next time you go, summink like a wooden kebab stick and a bit of string should do it or a small green garden cane but anything that will stake it should work fine till stem fattens up a wee bit. I`d maybe do them all for time being.Daikatana wrote: ↑Tue Sep 15, 2020 10:57 pmHi again, I was there today too, they were looking even better than before. Also look at lowering the light a bit now to around 3ft above plants should do jobby, but make sure you have that oscilating fan blowing inbetween to spread heat a bit more too. :)

Hi there, they seem to be healthy. photos are from yesterday. But two of them are bending sideways as you can see. I'll put some kinda sticks to keep them straight.

And about the cal-mag;
in front, it says Ca/Mg 4,9 : 1,4 (%m/m)
on the back side it says Add 0,1 - 1 ml per litre cal-mag until you reach an EC of 0,45 mS/cm. On top pf this water you use the m-normal recommended nutrients and additives.

This is how I dose my Canna Calmag. You need to check what your starting EC is and only if it is below 0.4 EC do you need to add anything. With mine I use RO water so the base comes out <0.1 so I just adjust up to 0.4 as better to be under than over (easier to add than remove). Mine also has a recommended dosing of 0.45 but I find 0.4 is a safer target and mine have not shown any signs of deficiency ;o)
Using this approach you are obviously forced to add CalMag before any other nutrients.

@Daikatana get them staked up stright man, stick summink like a cane in pots and tie some string around plant to bring it straight, i can imagine it stressing out a bit cus it can`t hold itself up, hehehe i do Saturday nights. But yes mate stick a cane or summink into coco in your pots and tie plant straght up as it should be.
I think plants need more ferts too looking at them, im all for starting adding calmag now too after reading Minty`s post, nice one. Anyhow up both A&B to 1.2 to 1.3ml per liter and sling in 1/4 of a ml per liter of calmag, it sounds alot though when i read it back does that, i dont think it is though, so yes do that Dai man and keep those pictures coming like a professional photographer, loadsa pictures man :)
How much is quarter ml a liter in numbers @Minty or summink like mate please

I just wondered what 0.25ml added to a litre of water was ec wise but ec i understand cus all those differenbt readings and numbers does my napper in mate
So Dai after reading this back and thinking on again plants are still small so stick at 1ml a liter of both AnB and start adding calmag at 1/4ml per liter, best not pushing it yet and at end of shift you can always up ferts a bit next weekend in 7 days, lets see how they react to adding calmag firstly with AnB @ 1ml a litre hey.....2-Scoops wrote: ↑Sat Sep 19, 2020 12:12 am@Daikatana get them staked up stright man, stick summink like a cane in pots and tie some string around plant to bring it straight, i can imagine it stressing out a bit cus it can`t hold itself up, hehehe i do Saturday nights. Ah OK mate, just added 0.25ml of Canna CalMag to 1 litre of Tap Water (for a test) and got the following results:-
Base Tap Water : 0.9 EC
+ 0.25ml CannaCalMag : 0.98 EC
So just under .1 EC per 0.25ml

Re: Help with the new grow with help from 2-scoops (Amnesia Lemon)
So @Daikatana ignore my last 2 posts altogether about fert strengths cus Minty has got me a good guide for dosing calmag. So new plan of attack is add 0.5ml of calmag and 1ml of both AnB for a week and we`ll see how they`re looking then hey.....
But defo stake up the plants still with a support cane of some sort and wire or string mate. Sorry for all fucking around giving out different advice but we`ll get you their in the end.
Cheers @Minty

Hi there scoops, actually I've been givin .25 calmag for the last 2 times wit 1 ml A&B. Guess what, they look great. I didnt even use anything to support the plants, but they straightened up themselves, i don't know how.
So I'm starting to give'em 1 ml A&B and .5 ml calmag. I'll go check them today.
