Re: Keeno does Harybo and Exo - mentored by Don Bullioni!
Well we'll well
I found something while taking both pic.......

rot
I checked all over every top to every pop corn bud. No sign of it anywhere else. It was the largest top to. GMO mentioned maybe a drip of condensation hitting that one top. I've never had it before.
I've turned my heaters onto 30c, that will drop humidity massively in the coming week.
In the 2 bottom pics you can see the top I cut off, no sign if it further down the middle of the cola. Keeno lunch strikes again.

Dam mold oh what a pain it is K. Trouble is with mold it sets in early on and by the time you see the symptoms it is to late. For sure not is all lost though i have had it where one cola gets it and its normally the largest most dense one. Just start on the flush is my advice and keep your eye on the leaves of the buds if they look funky and leaves above and below look normal take a decent look at the Bud. There is not much you can do now but cross them fingers. Trouble is the mold would have set in about 4 weeks previous so cross your legs as well and i wish you atb K.

Damn keeno. You said it wasn't last night to me
It happens especially outdoors, only place I've had it tbh. Just have to cut it all out unfortunately as it just spreads :(
I usually found it was just 1 or 2 buds so fingers crossed!

The quieter you become, the more you are able to hear.

Re: Keeno does Harybo and Exo - mentored by Don Bullioni!
Update day 56
Wassup GR420. These are 8 weeks today. Ive been keeping a very close eye on both strains and fingers crossed no more rot, that was by far the biggest cola on the harybo, fingers crossed it was a isolated thing. Ive been doing everything i can to keep the RH down, this bastard mild weather really isnt helping. They have been on flush for 3 days. Its a shit situation as i know the exo will be good for chop at 9 and half weeks, the harybo is unknown, given the rot making an appearance ive had to get the flush on the go. In my experience most strains will really pack on the last 2-3 weeks, the harybo has been steadily doing so for a week. Given the size of the colas on her its a real nervous time, im finding myself clock watching as it gets close to lights on so i can check them. Ill get the exo down bang on 9 and half weeks, the harybo im planning to pull down at 10, i can risk the rot any longer than that. This will mean the exo gets around 10 days flush the harybo a full 2 weeks unless i have to pull earlier due to more rot.
While trimming the rotted part of that cola i cut off a small bud by accident, ive left it to dry to have a look and fook me this is a frosty strain, considering it was cut at 7 weeks im very impressed with the amount of trichomes on it, i honestly think im onto something a but special with this strain and look forward to running her again from clone. Knowing how she reacts i think i can do a lot better, the way she stretched and way she has budded could have been handled better. The small piece thats dried has a very strong smell, really reminds me of old school skunk, that fresh clean skunky smell, i cant put my finger on it but ive defo had something similar many moons ago smell wise. Strange bit is tis isnt the smelliest strain in flower, i can only imagine what she will be like after a few weeks in jars.
Ive got some wind burn going on near the fans but id rather have wind burn than rot so its like a wind tunnel in there atm lol. Temps are 25c lights off, 27c lights on. RH is between 50 and 60%. it has spiked to 70%. I have plans to put a industrial dehumidifier in there when these are down and i can move about in there.
Not a disaster yet but not the ending i had pkanned, i wanted to take the harybo as far as i could in flower, im sure they will be fine at 10 weeks, the signs are there that they are ripening off now but this rot has forced my hand. If they are not completely flushed out by 2 weeks flush and no signs of rot i may try push them a few more days if needed.
Below is the pics of the small nug i accidentally cut off when removing the mould. The trichomes are o thick in some places it looks like syrup.
