How long did your Harybo go from flip cspt?

mine went 9 weeks but i like em shiny see i dont grow for weight i grow the finest high i can get !!!

I've gotta flush them, if i start Monday they will come down bang on week 10

It's a real shit one that's for sure. Had a professional strop this week . Bloody best looking grow and boom I get this shit. Wouldn't be a Keeno grow without a few dramas. I've been checking everything like a csi detective, gloved up with my loupe every day. Nothing else has shown up and I pray it stays that way. 4 days into flush, every day is a blessing. O only noticed the mould when I did the botm pic, even then it was contained inside the cola itself, the outside was a off colour from where it was dying from within. I can only hope that no spores got out of the bud. We shall see anyway. Bastard plants

Dam mold oh what a pain it is K. Trouble is with mold it sets in early on and by the time you see the symptoms it is to late. For sure not is all lost though i have had it where one cola gets it and its normally the largest most dense one. Just start on the flush is my advice and keep your eye on the leaves of the buds if they look funky and leaves above and below look normal take a decent look at the Bud. There is not much you can do now but cross them fingers. Trouble is the mold would have set in about 4 weeks previous so cross your legs as well and i wish you atb K.

Thank you K. I remember you saying earlier in the diary about it possibly setting in early. I've never had problems with humidity, in fact I've always had climate spot on but the plants I've struggled with, this time I've got the plants good but climate, I'm not destined to have a problem free grow it seems. I'm really hoping it is just the 1 cola, it was by far the biggest and most dense there. The harybo will need the 10 weeks looking at em, still a good 10 days to go . It's all learning so we shall see where this ends up.

Hi Keeno, bummer on the rot dude.
Tough call on what to do.
Have you thought about water curing the dope after chop? Saves having to flush. (The water will leech everything out the buds)
A hydrogen peroxide bath or two will sort any remaining spores out and then into plain water for a few weeks (changing daily), it'll kill the stink and flavour of the dope... But if you want a stealthy (no smell, you'll get away with it in the pub ;) ) smooth smoke, it works great for that and you'd be assured it's clean from spores.
But I'd dunk the blooms into h2o2 bath after chop anyway, just to be safe, then hang and dry as normal.
Worth a ponder maybe?

I've not done either of the 2 methods you mention before. I'll have a research on both. These will be going to oil so im not sure if that makes a difference, again I need to research it all. Atm everything is looking ok in there, I'm just greatful I took the botm pic which showed the slight discolour to the bud. It was inside and hadn't yet spread to the outside. Funny thing was I nearly missed the deadline for the botm entry and was sitting on the sofa thinking I'll leave it for next month. I wouldn't have got that close to that bud for a while had I not got up for the botm pic. I'll be much more vigilant in the future for sure.

It happens especially outdoors, only place I've had it tbh. Just have to cut it all out unfortunately as it just spreads :(
I usually found it was just 1 or 2 buds so fingers crossed!

Yeah this outdoor larky is a total pain in the arse. I'll get it all dialled in. Just a bit on top, biggest groom, new kit, new environment. Some of the colas on these are huge, only time I'll really know is chop and I need to hold out a bit longer as they ain't ready. Bloody nightmare.

I feel for you matey. Both zkittles plants I grew had their biggest buds (would be wouldn't it) succumb to mould. I got a new, stronger tower fan and a wet vac to suck up all the run off and I stuck a small dehumidifier (still might get a pricier one if it happens again)

In some fruit crops the fungus enters flowers and colonizes the developing fruit, but does not break out and cause a rot until the fruit begins to ripen and the sugar content rises.
I 100% believe this is what happens when growing cannabis this why you often see it towards the end of flower as the plant produces more sugars.
This is why you can be led into thinking it is spreading quickly it is actually already there feeding on your plants fruits.
It favors high humidity conditions and temps from 0-24C. Also loves dead plant materials so remove from groom as soon as.

Update - Chopped

Wassup GR420. The dreaded rot made another appearance, this time on another harybo cola and a exo cola. Given it was 2 strains effected and 2 more showed up so fast i had to get em down. I done the chop on Saturday, 9 hour stint in a grow tent, not nice at all. The bowl trimmer made life a lot easier. I was ill as fook to so i apologies for the lack of chop pics, i needed to get it done as fast as possible.

At least with both strains showing it its confirmed its environmental and not a strain issue, ill be getting the place bleached and scrubbed as soon as this lot is dry and then putting a beast dehumidifier in there. The model im going fo is over kill but if im gonna put the time and effort into growing out there i gotta make sure the environment is correct. Im hoping the fact it warms the air and the amount of air the thing moves will actually save me on running cost with heaters, so it may work out very well indeed.

Sometimes we gotta do what we gotta do pal but i'm 100% sure you have done the right thing just make sure to get plenty of air moving in the drying chamber scrub down get cleaned up and go again pal. This still looks like a stunning harvest mate back to back success now pal your gaining momentum but the Big question................ which one do you prefer the look and smell of at this point can the Harybo possibly stand up to that Exo we all know and love so much ???
