Re: Grumpy Toad's Fall Fruity Fiasco
Garden Update day 29 flower (4 weeks)
Everything is very stable in the tent. Temps and humidity are right where I want. In fact the difference between lights on and lights off is only 4 – 5 degrees F. I'm constantly monitoring things since our weather is in the midst of seasonal change. Last week it was dry as can be and we had daytime high temps of 95F (35C), next day 85F (29C) and then the next day 75F (24C). Then yesterday we had our first significant rain. 1” in 15 minutes. The forecast for next week has high temps only hitting 65F (18C).
I have done quite a bit of defoliation just not all at once. I do a little every day. I decided to use Rasta Jeff's advice and take off anything with a purple petiole. Lots of open space for light and air.
I found about 10 fungus gnats on my yellow sticky trap. I put a couple more spread around the tent and have not seen any more for 3 days. I'll keep a close eye and I have two options to knock them down if needed.
The Orange Runtz Cake is starting to get some strong, funky aroma. Bring da Funk!

Day 36 (end of week 5 flower)
Everything is cruising along smoothly. Haven't done much other than feed every other day. I'm done defoliating unless there is an outlier somewhere. Feed has been constant at 6.1ph and 1.1 - 1.2 EC. Temps and humidity couldn't be better. Here is a video fly-by and some photos.
