It's been approximately 1.5 hours since we've both had the AstraZeneca jab. Here is an update.

Me: Couldn't tell I've had a jab. No effects are showing yet.
The wife: (bear in mind she is allergic to so many things) She felt slightly dizzy moments after taking it, but lasted seconds. Her arm is sore. No rash, just hurts a bit.

If things change, I will report here.

Dude I think what most are speaking about in terms of the effects are the long term effects, and rightly so. You just can't predict that. It's with anything pushed out so quickly, there hasn't been enough time to understand the side effects and consequences of it. I just can't get my head around how badly they want everyone vaccinated.

There are long term effects with COVID itself.

They want everyone vaccinated because they want the public to get back to work and to have a life as well. It's because of selfish people acting the way they are is one of the reasons why it's taking so long. I had some bint brush past me yesterday. It's okay though because she had a mask on. Rolls eyes.

I had my jab less than 5 minutes ago. They (The nurses) have done thousands with no problems with reactions.

Have you never had a MMR jab? Tetanus jab? TB jab? I'll be bloody surprised if you haven't.

we all have an opinion on it Aspie and it if ppl want to back these absolutely absurd rules then so b it , this country is on its knees already because of the government, kill the pubs and restaurants off why not lol do u actually know anyone that owns a pub ? cos they don’t want it it’s a pity the so called government don’t listen to the real ppl

Surely you'd want to be safe or at least feel safe, yes?

You wouldn't take your daughter to a school knowing that most of the teachers there are paedos.
You wouldn't take a ride at Six Flags knowing the rides keep breaking down and injuring/killing people.
So why is this any different?

And if they open with no precautions, they could also close down completely due to outbreaks linked to them (individual shops, not UK-wide.)

You still going through drive through ? Your surgery ? The local shop ? Chemists ? All these gonna have a piece of paper before they serve u ?

You still going through drive through ? Your surgery ? The local shop ? Chemists ? All these gonna have a piece of paper before they serve u ?

I was EXACTLY the same before I had the injection.

I don't shop in Tesco, I shop LATE AS POSSIBLE in other shops. I keep well away from people. I do use a drive through, rarely. No-one is allowed into the surgery. All done by phone. I rarely go to a local shop, and only do so when it is quiet. I also sanitise - but did that before it became fashionable.

I've asked you more than once about other vaccines, but you've avoided answering them. That raises questions with me.
If you haven't had a polio vaccine, MMR vaccine, TB vaccine, Tetanus vaccine, then you are dangerous to be near. Plus, you won't have the COVID vaccine.

If you have had them, then why not this one?

I don't have long to live, but want to have as long as possible without having selfish people near me. We've banned one person who was supposed to be in our bubble, but she was seeing too many others, and some are junkies who mix with all sorts. Too much of a risk to have her in our house.

Just because you may think this is a government conspiracy, all fake, yadda yadda yadda, comes across that you don't give a shit about others who are vulnerable. I see those type every time I go out, and do my best to avoid them, but they don't care as they are selfish and brush past you or stand right behind you.

Added: as for chemists, I only go into one, and again, when it's quiet. They know I have breathing problems and I am only in there for a few minutes. I try and minimise the risk.

Pubs and restaurants are different. The former, people get drunk, they don't care about social distancing, they lose inhibitions. Also, you're normally there for a long time and the windows are normally shut.

The latter, again, you're there for a long time but less likely to be drunk.
