wow nice pics guys! @sybarite the quantam you posted def has the bud structure of the dr who i used to run,shame she was lacking in the effect department,as pretty as them girls can be if they up to catch they gotta go aye,@Cave Hill Cole now that girl looks to be one hell of a producer man,proper bulbous swollen flowers,any of the doctor who hybrids are gunna test high too i would think lol...nice work chaps!,used to run lots of tga few years back,off the top of me head, done 3d,vortex,chernobyl,pushberry,qleaner,timewreck (that was fucking amazing),doctor who,cuvee...prob a few more i can remember lol,wish i took photos back then but was way to para,only started recently and finally plucked the courage to sign up to a forum haha,but yer always used to watch the weed nerd..sub taught me a lot

That's an impressive list of TGA gear you have run mate. The timewreck and the chernobyl are two strains I have always wanted to run/try, they are super hard to find these days. After sub passed away his seed stock changed and the availability became scarce. How was the 3D? I have a pack sitting in my seed collection. I've got his Queen Anne's Revenge (Blood Wreck x Space Queen) and King Jack (Urkle x chernobyl) too. I always wanted to try his Jack the Ripper too. Old sub was interesting character I definitely appreciated his contribution to the community. All his breeders have gone on to do well. Ive been trying some of Jinnx proof's gear to. Only tried his 9 Pound Hammer so far, ive got his Shang Ra La too which sounds solid.

Hey dude,yer have run a fair few of his beans lol,would literally tune in tho the weed nerd everyday man ,felt like i knew the guy lol...yer think it all went a bit to shit after the fire at the house in california didnt it and prob even a bit before that when he had that idiot badger making the seeds.I heard that one of the reasons jill left (the company that is) is that badger mislabeled some of the breeding stock including males and the resulting releases i.e the later remakes of the famous stuff especially were actually different hybrids by accident,think the space dude and jtr males were mixed up haha....
So are those ones like king jack and queen annes the subcools dank brand or tga? i know he had that swimming pool place and did a bit of breeding before he passed didnt he ,is it that stuff? ahh man the 3D was a really good line all very very fast finishing like literally no longer than 8 weeks any of them, had a keeper pheno that was done in 45days flat no shit,short plant,crazy pina colada type terp all pineapple and coconut just like the cocktail,very exotic..,i was just saying to someone in the chat the other day that i sold a pack of each of marionberry kush and cheese quake to a mate like 3 years ago and wish id kept em now lol,be very interested to see what comes of your 3D especially and the newer hybrids,as the blood wreck was timewrecks father and timewreck was doctor whos father haha,gunna be some killer stuff no doubt bro ,no doubt,yer subby was a leg-end man

awesome thanks @Tictok dude,ive been thinking about trying some more living stuff and never come across somewhere that blends the amendments like this,been on the biobizz my whole career as it were and tired of micro deficiencies,perlite and bottles. So have you amended and reused/planning to reuse any of the soil yet? gotta say your plants look super happy mate...ahh ok cool might have a look om old skool spain then as been wanting to check some of skunk va's work

I switched from BioBizz nutes in Canna soil and would probably never go back to that method. It's less effort for me and the plants look healthier.

I found extra aeration helped in the form of more buckwheat hulls than what comes with the soil kits, I think it was around 1.5 packs instead of 1, but I can check that. Not sure what the volume of my large GreenSmart pots are, but think it's a bit less than 50L and have two plants in each. I also found short, wide pots work better with living soil than tall, narrow pots - I think the worms prefer not travelling up and down so much, but more laterally. With living soil it can last about 3-5 years with amendments, but you really need to filter out chlorine and chloramine. Green Hand sell the filters on their site, currently out of stock, but if you email or contact them on this forum (username GHO) they'll probably be able to get them in. I used to use an RO filter, but it was too wasteful and slow:

So my 3D, shangri la are & Queen Annes Revenge are from Sub Cools the Dank brand which is the newer stuff I believe. The King Jack is TGA and older I think. Yeah I heard good things about 3D, that it was fast for a sativa leaning hybrid and was tasty. I'm actually just starting some seeds of Green Avenger (Vortex x Genius) by brothers Grimm, the cross is kind of an ode to Sub as it uses his Vortex and apparently he was a big fan of Genius.

Yeah I heard about the seed mislabeling mix up...what a balls up eh. And I remember when the fire went down and he lost his home, he was on the Adam Dunn show in tears basically, super sad. It raises an interesting observation when it comes to breeders, companys and seed lines. You can never guarantee that the seed line is going to stay consistent. Many factors can come into play and strain that was amazing at one point in time very well may not stay that way. You hear so much of people saying many different seed lines aren't what they once were.
